Biography

Clara Mora started dancing at the age of 5. Later, at the age of 14, she decided to start her professional training at the CORELLA Dance Academy, with the teachers Ángel Corella, Carmen Corella and Dayron Vera.

During her training, Mora played roles such as the first odalisque in Le Corsaire, Gamzatti in La Bayadère, Carelessness (Fleur de Farine), a fairy in Sleeping Beauty and Flower Girl in Don Quixote.

She also got to work on different repertoires such as Giselle Act I Corps de Ballet, and Peasant Pas, Swan Lake Act I and Act II Corps de Ballet, dance of the cygnets and pas de trois, La Bayadère Kingdom of the Shades corps de ballet, Theme and Variations, Tchaikovsky Pas de Deux, Allegro Brillante.

She has worked with teachers such as Mr. Burmann, Herman Cornejo, Marc Boermans, Eric Underwood, Victor Ullate, Aaron Watkin, Rinat Imaev, Paloma Herrera, Xiomara Reyes, Ekaterina Tumanova.
In 2018 Clara performs at the YAGP competition and qualifies as top 12 with Laurencia variation and Walpurgis Night variation. In the same year she graduates and finishes her studies at CORELLA Dance Academy. She continues her training with Miku Fukumitsu, until 2019 when she starts to be part of Ballet de Barcelona.

Your proudest moment as an artist.

"When I danced my first gala abroad. Ft was a great challenge to overcome, because I learned to manage everything and to trust myself more. And the best thing is that I lived it with people I appreciate."

Define a perfect day.

"The one I spend together with my loved ones, being happy, doing my job well and enjoying with things I love, like a good breakfast, spending time with friends, and walking with my little dog. I'm also very happy when I spend my days out of the city, I love nature and the beach."

If you weren't a dancer, you'd be...

"I would work in the field of Nutrition, because it is something I love and I am currently completing my nutrition studies combining it with my job."
