Natsumi Tsuruta

Your proudest moment as an artist.

"One day when I was a student in Canada. I had many opportunities to dance, but there was one special one where I felt I never wanted that moment to end and forget the feeling. At the moment of the salute, the audience stood up and clapped just for me and my partner. I was moved and purely grateful because I believe I was able to touch someone's heart with my dance. The memory became one of my motivations to keep working with a lot of desire to be a better dancer every day!"

Define a perfect day.

"Starting the day with a cup of coffee. Then cleaning my room and working out. While calling my family and friends in Japan, sewing my ballet shoes! This time goes by fast because it's super fun and necessary for me. Walking around the beautiful city of Barcelona and spending time in a cafe with my friends, or alone. After dinner, having a relaxing moment watching my favorite artist's video. makes my day so much better!"

If you weren't a dancer, you'd be...

"Musical theater dancer, or flight attendant."
